It was a Sunday afternoon when Erik was at a Dog Park with his puppy, Scrappy. Scrappy was a gray pit-bull and had a white collar. He was about 2 feet tall and weighed about 60 pounds. Erik was a type of kid that loved his dog and would always take Scrappy to the Dog Park to play with him and give him his walks. They were playing fetch, when all of a sudden, Scrappy got lost. Erik had no idea where he went. He got lost when Erik threw the ball for him to catch and he never came back.
Erik got scared and said,”Oh God, please let me find my dog”.
He started to cry and asked people around the park if they seen a little puppy. They told him no and he started to panic saying, ”Oh no, Oh no, Oh no”. Erik goes back home and gets help from his family and friends.
An hour passed and Scrappy was still missing. They went back where Erik had first lost Scrappy but he wasn’t there. Erik, his family, and friends split up to look for Scrappy but they had bad luck on finding him. After looking around the park where Erik first lost him they where convinced that he was no longer in the park. They got back together and went out to look for him in their neighborhood.
Erik said to himself, ”We’re never going to find Scrappy”.
His friend Oscar replied, ” Yes we are, you’ll see”.
They spend hours and hours looking for Scrappy and Scrappy was yet not found. At last they all got tired of looking for Scrappy and decided to go back home. Erik was very sad and disappointed because they couldn’t find Scrappy.
”It was all my fault”, he said, ”If I could of been more careful, this wouldn’t be happening”. He thanked everybody for helping him look for his dog. As they drove up on the drive way they saw Scrappy waiting for them in the doorstep. Erik was so happy to see Scrappy and said, ”That a boy, I knew you’ll come back”, petting him.
Erik put Scrappy’s leash on and went back to the park to play for a little while. Erik threw the ball and Scrappy ran to get it and brought it back. Erik was happy that Scrappy came back to him, “good boy,” said Erik petting Scrappy on his head.
After playing for another hour it was time to go home, “come here boy!” shouted Erik, Scrappy just sat there looking sad. Scrappy didn’t want to go home, Erik had to chase him around, “stop, sit, stay, lay!” shouted Erick but Scrappy wouldn’t listen. Scrappy got tired and stopped running, Erik was so tired he could barley stand.
Erik had put Scrappy’s leash on and walked home. Once they got home, Erik had just opened the door and Scrappy ran in and jumped on the couch and fell asleep, Erik was so tired, he said,” Oh brother, what a long day it was today”. He went to his bedroom and fell asleep too.
